I have deep knowledge of Agile and Lean principles, but my expertise lies in knowing how and when to apply them, especially in environments where we’re starting from scratch or with a blend of traditional and Agile methods. The approach differs depending on the people, the products or services, and the organisation.
I started in digital agencies, including running my own for six years. This gave me exposure to many different organisations, people, practices, and challenges. This breadth of exposure – combined with adopting Agile & Lean methodologies early on – led to opportunities to work on bigger and more complex projects – including national security systems for government and transformation programmes in the private sector. More recent roles include Business Agility Consultant and Interim Chief Product Officer.
Who I work with
With experience in government, commercial, and not-for-profits, my focus is with mission driven-organisations such as charities, non-for-profits, and B Corps.

My values
Most of my work isn’t about the theory of agile and lean – or any other principles or practices. It’s about people. My approach to supporting and working with people is driven by my three core values:
- Collaboration. I believe that working together, with connection to each other, is the way to achieve a greater impact.
- Inclusion. To work more effectively together, we need to understand each other and create cultures that are inclusive and equitable. As a white male, I continually work to acknowledge the reality and culture in which I grew up and how it affects my beliefs and preconceptions of others.
- Openness. Openness is key to building trust and connecting with each other, and this drives effective collaboration.
